Nadery: “Focus will be on the Quality Improvement of Human Resources, in the Coming Year”

Ahmad Nader Nadery, Chairman of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, has directed that more attention should be paid to quality improvement of human resources in the civil service sector in the coming year.
Mr. Nadery, in the Board of Commissioners meeting, said: “next year’s objective is quality improvement of human resources in the civil service sector. In the next year, the overall focus should be on improving the quality of personnel to improve the quality of service delivery.”
Furthermore, in the Board of Commissioners meeting, it was decide that more professional assessments should be carried out in the Exams Content Research and Development Center in order to improve and enhance the exams system and the quality of the questions.
Exams content research and development is performed in five stages: research and analyses, defining competency frameworks, content development, content validation and finalization, and content application.
In the exams content research and development job competencies and support competencies are taken into consideration. Job competencies include a number of professional and specialty competencies, but support competencies include managerial competencies, administrative competencies, basic competencies, and general knowledge.
Chairman of the Commission, appreciated the achievements In terms of increased quality, transparency and speed of the Exams Content Research and Development center, and added that the new system enables applicants to only rely on their merit and talent.
On the other hand, the Board of Commissioners ruled that those civil servants who are hired through the TAGHIR project could enjoy the rights and privileges provided to them by the TAGHIR project during the Hajj leave–only once–and special leave for women (maternity leave).
