Monitoring and evaluation officers were trained to implement the new procedure on performance appraisal of civil servants. A number of monitoring and evaluation officers from the center and provinces participated in this training program.
The new procedure on performance appraisal of civil servants is developed to regulate performance evaluation process of civil servants, make civil servants more responsible and accountable, and ensure transparency, administrative justice, and job security of the civil servants.
The new procedure on performance appraisal of civil servants is applicable on all civil servants–senior, mid-management, and entry-level.
Based on the new procedure, the educational needs and skills development of civil servants will be identified in a more realistic and constructive manner, and with clear indicators and key activities civil servants will be pushed to perform beyond their positions’ ToRs.
