Exams Were Held for One Hundred Sixty-Nine Civil Service Positions

Eight hundred eleven applicants competed in the exams for 169 positions—in the centre and provinces–of 17 government agencies in the exams centres of Kabul, Nengarhar, Herat, Bamyan, Kandahar and Balkh provinces.

Eight hundred eleven applicants competed for senior, mid-management, and low-level positions of the State Ministry for Martyrs and Disabled Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Energy and Water, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, National Statistics and Information Authority, Supreme Audit Office, National Environmental Protection Agency, Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority, and the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission.

Sibghatullah Muhammadi, once of the applicants for a grade four civil service position, says that he trusts that in the recruitment processes are transparent in the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission.

Muhammad Amin, another applicant who has scored more than 29 points, says: “in contrast to the past, exams are quite transparent, only capacity and merit of individuals can assure success in this process.”
