Frozan Amiri, who has recently been appointed as the director of the Exams Content Research and Development Center (ECRDC) of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) as per a presidential decree, has formally begun her work.
The ECRDC was established almost two years ago. So far, in this center, tens of thousands of questions have been developed on management, fundamental competencies, and general and specialized knowledge.
The ECRDC is tasked with research and development of questions for the recruitment exams in accordance with Terms of Reference (ToR) and needs of the departments. Hundreds of national and international credible sources are utilized during the research and development of recruitment exams’ questions.
Ms. Amiri, a writer and critic, completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Dari literature from Herat University. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate in literature.
For the past ten years, Ms. Amiri has worked in fields of curriculum development and strengthening, journalism, teaching Dari literature, teaching research methods, advising on student dissertations, launching poetry and storytelling classes, and writing stories, criticism pieces and children books.
Frozan Amiri has worked as a senior subject specialist in the Ministry of Education, as a writer in the Afghan Children Read (ACR) program, as a lecturer in the University of Kahkashan-e-Sharq in Herat, as a master trainer in Herat’s Directorate of Education, as a teacher in teachers training institutes of Tawhid and Forogh-e-Resalat, as an honorary professor in Herat University’s Faculty of Sociology, as teacher in Tawhid Private High School and Saifi Girls High School, as editor-in-chief of Ta Saghar-e-Baqist literary magazine, and as the secretary general of Herat Literary Association.
Frozan Amiri’s research papers, literary reviews, stories and poems have been publish in national and international journals. She has also written 10 poetry books and 12 story books for children.
