The Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission celebrated the 16th anniversary of the adoption of the constitution.
The anniversary of the adoption of the constitution is annually celebrated by various civil service agencies during the Afghan National Constitution Week.
In the ceremony of celebrating the Afghan National Constitution Week, officials of the IARCSC and the Commission for overseeing the implementation of the Constitution spoke about the importance and value of the constitution and other laws which are based on the constitution.
The constitution was adopted by the Loya Jirga in 2004, it consists of 12 chapters and 162 articles. Later in 2010, the Commission for overseeing the implementation of the Constitution was established.
The Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, based on the constitution, has drafted the Administrative Procedure Law and Administrative Courts Law in coordination with other civil service agencies. The Administrative Procedure Law is currently being enacted and Administrative Courts Law is being validated.
