The IARCSC Held Coordinative Meetings with Government Agencies in Order to Accelerate Appeals Handling Procedures

In order to speed up appeals addressing procedures and implementation of resolutions of the Appeals Board, the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission has held work meetings with HR officials of five government agencies.

Citizens have been complainant about the noncompliance of some of the government agencies and ministries with the resolutions of the Appeals Board. Failure in implementing the resolutions of the Appeals Board, causes needless problems for the citizens and will disrupt legal procedures of administrative performance.

In the Appeals Board’s coordinative meeting with the HR officials of the ministries of Communication and Information Technology, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Refugees and Repatriations, the Independent Electoral Commission, and the State Minister for Disaster Management, mechanisms of implementing the Appeals Board’s resolutions and in time submission of the required documents related to the complaints which are being addressed by the said board, were discussed.

The HR officials of the said ministries and agencies promised to cooperate with Appeals Board regarding the implementation of the Appeals Board’s resolutions and in time submission of the required documents.

The Independent Election Commission in five cases, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in six cases, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in nine cases, Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations in nine cases, Office of the State Minister for Disaster Management in three cases have not complied with the resolutions of the Appeals Board.

Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, State Minister for Disaster Management are among the agencies which have responded to the requests of the Appeals Board in the set time frame.
